【Wakayama travel】Ohashi-Rouka(お橋廊下)、Wakayama history museum, KIsyuu ramen (紀州ラーメン), Oka-park(岡公園), Nagaya-mon (長屋門) etc.

My main destination of this Wakayama trip was Wakayama castle and Kisyuu Tousyougu as I wrote by yesterday on ths blog. And I had visited other good places. I'll write the others of this trip today.

First one is Ohashi-rouka (お橋廊下）. Ohashi-Rouka means, corridor bridge with roof. This building was built for walking between the house of the Feudal lord (大名）and the beautifu garden (紅葉渓庭園).

And the internal of the building was like this.

I also went to the 'Wakayama-history museum'. When I bought the ticket of Wakayama-castle, the ticket of the museum was also included. So I went there ,too.

This is the gold seal. And it's a little intresting. Each small one will be contained into the big one.

And the lunch I ate there was 'Kisyuu-Ramen' (紀州ラーメン） at the restaurant 'Marui' 「まるイ」. When I orderd normal ramen, the ramena has many many green onion on the ramen like this picture.

I also went to Oka-park (岡公園) near the 'Kanazawa-castle'. There were a steam locomotive and Erectric train.

In addition to that, there weer memorial monument , and

Goddess of Mercy　（観音様）, and

Figure of 'Munemitsu Mutsu' (陸奥宗光) .

And after walking a little, there were 'Nagaya-mon' (長屋門）, too. Originally the building was in another place, but after escaping from big fire of the war, this was moved here for sightseeing.

I also went to 'Wakaura-Tenmanguu' (和歌浦天満宮）. It is the god of academics that celebrates 'Mitizane-Sugawara'(菅原　道真）

I also went to Wakayama fishing port.

This is 'Shirasu-don' (しらす丼). Young-herring on the rice. It's pretty reasonable (600-yen).

And this day, there were a lot of the people who wore the clothes of Santa Clause. The reason why is the event of Wakayama Santa Run.

I have more pictures of Wakayama-travel, but probably I could write about this trip of Wakayama, I think.

【Wakayama travel】Relaxed and walking at Nishinomaru garden (西ノ丸庭園) and Japanese tea-ceremony room, 'Kousyou-an(紅松庵)'

During Wakayama trip, I went to Wakayama castle and beautifu garden, 'Nishinomaru garden'. I have already write about Wakayama castle, so in this article, I'll introduce the following garden, 'Nishinomaru garden' and 'Kousyou-an'.

After visiting Wakayama castle, I went to Nishinomaru-teien. At that time, there were beautiful autumun leaves and I enjoyed pretty much about the scenary.

After walking in the garden, I stopped by the tea-ceremony room in the garden, 'Kousyou-an' and had a rest there.

After enjoying Japanese green tea and tasty Japanese confectionery, I continued to walk around the garden. It's really beautiful.

【Wakayama travel】Kisyu-Tousyouguu (紀州東照宮), It’s worth seeing a main temple that escaped the war disaster.

This topic is a second-day of travel in Wakayama city.

At that time, I visited Kisyu-Tousyouguu (紀州東照宮). The most famous Tousyouguu is probably Nikkou-Tousyouguu. Tōusyouguu (東照宮) is any Shinto shrine in which Tokugawa Ieyasu is enshrined.　

This Tousyouguu is built by Yorinobu-Tokugawa (徳川頼信） in Kisyuu clan, and it was called as Nikkou Tousyouguu of Kansai district.

However, there are almost no people when I visited. Probably because Wakayama itself is not so popular for sightseeing, or people for sightseeing was just passing through around here and went to town of hot spring, although I'm not so sure.

The main shrine can be guided only by 500 yen. Unfortunately, taking picture was not permitted there, so I can not show the beautiful sculptures which was built by Japanese famous sculptor, Jingoro Hidari (左甚五郎）. If you have time, please visit the place and enjoy those beautiful sculptures.

【Wakayama travel】Ginpei Head Office (銀平本店） Delicious boiled rice course with red snapper.

This day's dinner is the delicious boiled rice course with red snapper at the restaurand Ginpei, head office (銀平本店） in Wakayama city.

The restaurant had a good atmosphere at both the outsiede and inside.

And of course, the cuisine was very nice.

During the dinner course, I drank a good local Sake at Wakayama, which name was Minami-kata (南方）

And rice with red snapper. It's a little bit too much for me, but the restaurant made the rice balls by the remaining rice and and gave it to me as a take-out.

And the next picture was the desert.

I enjoyed all dishes.

【Wakayama Travel】Beautiful castle, Wakayama Castle. Do you know It was a national treasure before burnt.?

This day, I went to Wakayama city via Haneda airport and Kansai airport.

Wakayama is a good city for sightseeing, I think. However, Kyoto, Nara and Osaka city is more famous than it for people, so It becomes a somewhat unfortunate place from a tourist point of view.

Well, even though my hometown is Nara city, I almost never came to Wakayama. This time, I will spend a leisurely sightseeing tour of Wakayama.

First, I went to Wakayama Castle.

It is beautiful, isn't it? Wakayama castle is the main castle of 'Kisyuu-Tokugawa family' (紀州徳川家）, which is one of the '3 Tokugawa-family'.

It was a national treasure before burnt by the world war. And the present castle is a castle that faithfully reproduces its appearance before burnt.

In the castle, there were various items such as armors, swords, bows and other items on display.

And I could enjoy the scenery of Wakayama city from the top of the castle (天守閣).

And there were also the furnitures of the famous Japanes drama (大河ドラマ）.

After this, I went to the beautifl garden (西の丸庭園) near the castle, but I will write the article about them tomorrow.

【Yokohama travel】Cherry blossoms at Mitsuike-Kouen park (三つ池公園）

April 8th, last year (2018). Many blossoms had already fallen at that time. I took a picture of the cherry blossoms which were still bloomed.

【Kyoto travel】Cherry blossomes at 'Road of Philosophy' (哲学の道) & 'Heian-Jinguu' （平安神宮）, last year.

Last year (2018), I went to Kyoto the day after visiting Nara, and enjoyed cherry blossoms there.

First, I went to the 'road of philosophy' (哲学の道）

And after that, I went toward Heian-Jinguu (平安神宮).

Since the cherry blossoms were fully bloomed, it was very beautiful at that time.
